Who is this for?
Ideal for recruitment agencies, HR departments, and businesses hiring at scale that want to engage candidates directly on WhatsApp while automating data collection and processing.
What problem is this workflow solving?
Manually managing candidate messages and CVs through WhatsApp can quickly become overwhelming. Recruiters must read every message, download CVs, and enter information into spreadsheets. This workflow automates those steps, reducing manual work and ensuring no applicant is overlooked.
What this workflow does
- Captures messages and CV files from candidates on WhatsApp.
- Extracts key details such as name, contact info, experience, and skills.
- Processes CVs through OCR for structured data extraction.
- Saves CV files to Google Drive and organizes them by job or date.
- Updates the candidate database in Google Sheets automatically.
- Sends confirmation or follow-up messages to candidates.
How to set up this workflow?
Built on n8n, this workflow integrates:
- WhatsApp Webhook / API
- OCR or AI Parser
- Google Drive
- Google Sheets
- Gmail / Email
To activate: Connect your WhatsApp API, Google Drive, and Sheets accounts. Upload a sample message or CV file, and once the workflow is active, it will automatically process all incoming applications.
How to customize this workflow to your needs
- Add screening questions before collecting CVs.
- Route candidates by department or recruiter.
- Integrate with your ATS for centralized data management.
- Send automated status updates (e.g., “Application received”).
